Phelps Recycling Center:
The center is located at 4351 DNR Vista Lane. Effective January 1, 2026, Silver Pine Services will be managing the site. When purchasing a punch card, please make check payable to Silver Pine Services. Punch cards are available to purchase at the recycling center site.
Directions to the site:
From STH 17 south of Phelps - take Deerskin Rd (by Northern Exposure) to left on Strong Rd to left on DNR Vista Lane (see sign)
From STH 17 north of Phelps - take CTH A to right on Strong Rd to right on DNR Vista Lane (see sign)
Hours of Operation:
Summer Hours are from Saturday prior to Memorial Day through Tuesday after Labor Day
Open: Tuesdays 12:00 Noon - 3:00 pm and Saturdays 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Winter Hours are from Saturday after Labor Day through Tuesday prior to Memorial Day
Open: Saturdays ONLY 9:00 am - 12:00 Noon
Pricing and Accepted Items List
State DNR Recycling Grant Program Vouchers for the Town of Phelps can be obtained at the Town Clerk's office. Only two (2) vouchers per primary residence per year can be distributed, while supplies last. To obtain voucher(s) you must be a resident of Phelps. Please contact the Town Clerk to obtain your voucher(s) at 715-545-2270.
Note: The Town of Phelps will be hosting an Electronic Recycling event in 2026. We will post date and time as it gets closer to the event.
