Good morning,

This notice is to inform you that the CTH E Road Project from USH 45 to Blong Road is scheduled to begin next week.

On Tuesday, May 19, 2026, and Wednesday, May 20, 2026, the Vilas County Highway Department will replace a culvert between West Shore Road and Broman Lane in the Town of Phelps. To facilitate the culvert replacement, CTH E will be closed to through traffic during this work. No detour will be posted.

Tentatively, the pavement replacement portion of the project is scheduled to begin the week of May 26, 2026. The project is anticipated to be completed by the end of June, weather permitting.
